Six Months with Olivia

I can’t believe we are halfway to Olivia being a one year old! So much has changed in the last six months and it is incredible to see her personality growing each day. I love the app Wonder Weeks as it shares insights on typical milestones and leaps for children. Olivia is currently in leap five and I love reading about what skills and signals are to be expected during this time.

Most Used Baby Items

Now that Olivia is a little older, she is interacting a bit more with the world around her. She loves to select toys to play with and she is obsessed with putting all of her toys in her mouth. She already has three teeth and she loves her teether toys!

Nuna Pipa RX Car Seat – We love this car seat as it is lightweight and the quality is fantastic! We originally purchased another car seat that was under $250 but the craftsmanship and feel of the materials used is noticeably different between the two. As Olivia is growing it is so nice to have a lightweight car seat because things get heavy fast! We love to pair our car seat with our Uppababy Vista 2 Stroller – that was also worth every penny!

Fisher-Price Sweet Ride Jumperoo – Olivia is obsessed with this activity center. Once she is placed inside, she loves to bounce around and play with all of the ice cream truck accessories.

Dr. Brown’s HappyPaci Silicone Pacifiers – These pacifiers match the design and feel of her baby bottles and it is the only pacifier style that she will take. They are easy to clean and are a bit longer in size than some of the other options out there.

The Upseat – We use this every time we feed Olivia her purees. It’s a comfortable baby seat that was developed by physical therapists so it promotes healthy hip development.

Slumberkins – I’m not sure who loves this more, Olivia or myself! We own several kins, minis and sets from Slumberkins. I love their brand message and how they are encouraging children to explore their feelings.

Nuby Floor Mat – We use this floor mat all the time to encourage Olivia to explore and play with her toys. Olivia has been trying to crawl and walk when hold her up, so this floor mat is the perfect solution for her to move around.
