Our Stroller & Car Seat Set Up

Now that Olivia is a bit older, we wanted to have a few options for transportation. We relied heavily on our UPPAbaby Vista V2 for her newborn stage, and the bassinet attachment was a lifesaver for a while. We also loved our Nuna Pipa rx infant car seat for the ease of use – you just click it into the car base and you’re ready to go. We purchased the stroller adapter that way our Nuna car seat could fit perfectly on our Vista stroller.

Car Seat Line Up

Infant Car Seat - Nuna Pipa rx + relx base
Convertible Car Seat - Nuna Revv
Convertible Car Seat for Grandparents Car - Nuna Rava

As Olivia has been growing, she has officially outsized her infant car seat. Since we loved our Nuna Pipa rx car seat so much, I immediately researched their convertible car seat options to see what was available. We ended up purchasing the Nuna Rava as the car seat for when she is at her grandparents house and we purchased two Nuna Revv rotating convertible car seats for our two vehicles. I will say that these car seats were an investment, but I was able to score some deals on our favorite baby gear site, GoodBuyGear.com and it was worth it to me to have safe car seats with quality materials. Nordstrom typically offers the Nuna Rava on sale during their annual sales, so definitely look into that if you’re interested in the car seat.

I absolutely love the Nuna Revv rotating car seat. It rotates 360° and that saves our backs when we place her into the car seat. The car seat can be used as a rear facing car seat and a forward facing car seat, depending on you child’s size.

Stroller Set Up

Main Stroller - UPPAbaby Vista V2
Travel Stroller - UPPAbaby Minu V2
Wagon Stroller - Wonderfold W2

The UPPAbaby Vista V2 stroller is a gamechanger if you have the budget! We first tested out the stroller when we visited the Buy Buy Baby store. We had originally purchased another stroller earlier on in my pregnancy, but after testing out the Vista V2, I knew that it was going to be our main stroller. The stroller comes with a bassinet attachment and a toddler seat attachment. You can either attach the UPPAbaby brand infant car seat to the stroller or you can purchase an adapter for specific brands of car seats that are compatible with the Vista stroller.

The Vista V2 is an easy to use stroller, but it is a bit big – the basket underneath the stroller can easily fit a diaper bag and other essentials. After we didn’t need to use the bassinet attachment anymore, I found it to be large for my daily routine, so I purchased the UPPAbaby Minu V2 travel stroller. This stroller is amazing because it is lightweight, it still maintains the amazing Uppababy quality, and it is a one hand fold stroller. I can easily take it in and out of my car trunk and get Olivia seated in it with no fuss. We use the Minu for our walks around the neighborhood, Target runs and more. One thing to note is with the Minu stroller, the seat is attached and front facing, whereas the Vista V2 toddler seat attaches onto the stroller and you have the option to have the seat facing you or have it front facing.

For a more heavy duty trip option we opted for the Wonderfold W2 wagon stroller. This was a bit of a fun purchase for Olivia. We noticed that she really likes to look around and enjoy the outdoors, so this wagon stroller is perfect! There are detachable seats and a whole section where your child can sit or stand and look around. It has so much storage and a canopy for sun protection.

I highly recommend visiting a baby gear store if you can that sells different strollers so you can find the right option for your family. I do like that the UPPAbaby Vista V2 stroller has the option to convert into a double stroller if we decide to grow our family in the future!
